A computer engineer named Jennings (Ben Affleck) has a peculiar job which requires him to have his memory erased after each super-secret goal is accomplished. His usual reward is a large sum of money, but one day he wakes up missing three years of his life - and his payment. In place of his check, he has provided himself with only a small bag of seemingly worthless clues and everyday objects, which, when the feds come looking for him, becomes his only chance at saving his reputation - and his life. Directed by John Woo and based upon a short story by Philip K. Dick, Paycheck also stars Aaron Eckhart, Uma Thurman, and Paul Giamatti.
