A Webcomics Lecture:
xkcd
May 14, 2007 at 7:00 pm in 10-250
xkcd is "a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language." Join us for a talk by Randall Munroe, a former NASA roboticist and the creator of one of the most popular webcomics on campus!
Tickets are $1 for MIT students, $2 general admission. Tickets will be sold in Lobby 16 prior to LSC shows, beginning on May 4.
More Information:
How do I buy a ticket? Tickets will be sold in Lobby 16 on May 4-6 and 11-13, starting about half an hour before LSC movies (schedule here). Tickets cost $1 for MIT affiliates (you must show MIT I.D.) and $2 for general public. One reduced price ticket per MIT I.D.
Can I reserve tickets? No. We strongly recommend that you buy the tickets beforehand because there is a large demand for this lecture and we are not allowing people to reserve tickets. We will hold a few (very few) tickets to sell at the door and you can show up extra early to try and purchase these (we'll start selling them at 6pm). However, there is no guarantee that you will be able to purchase them. If you live far away from campus, we recommend having a friend near campus purchase your tickets for you.
What time will the doors open? 6:45pm.
