You might consider a big-screen adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's
biting satire of the American Dream to be an insurmountable task, but
it's difficult to imagine a director more suited for the job than
Terry Gilliam (Brazil, The Fisher King, 12 Monkeys, Monty Python).
His unique mastery of the absurd is indispensable in following the
journey of Thompson, a self-styled 'gonzo journalist', and his failed
search for the American Dream. With a Samoan attorney and a stolen
car, Thompson (played by Johnny Depp) heads to Vegas to cover a
motorcycle convention, after using their entire advance to stock up on
drugs and weapons.

James Cameron's priceless (and pricey) tale of love and disaster
finally arrives at LSC. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio star as
Rose and Jack, an unlikely and socially unequal couple (she's first
class, he's steerage) who are lucky enough to find each other aboard
the Titanic. 84 years later, Rose recounts their romance and the
horrible and terrifying tragedy that followed once the "ship of
dreams" struck an iceberg and turned the Atlantic into a watery
grave for over 1500 people. A film laden with realistic special
effects and obsessively accurate historical detail, Titanic is a
technical masterwork that also has heart. Also stars Gloria Stuart,
Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Francis Fisher, and Bill Paxton. Winner of 11
Academy Awards including Best Picture. As this feature is likely to
be very popular, LSC strongly encourages advance ticketing at The
Source to guarantee a seat at the show of your choice.
